NuView Coaching's purpose and mission is to support "The People in the Arena."
Throughout my career as a business owner, executive, ship captain, and now coach, I've experienced first-hand the tremendous pressures, complex issues, and never-ending "growth opportunities" the people in the arena face every single day.
I also know how incredibly valuable it is to have someone you can talk to that you trust who can help you address all the challenges and decisions you face as you work to achieve your most meaningful and important visions and goals.
Helping "The People in the Arena" succeed is what I am all about.
My Life and Career has always been focused on Learning, Changing & Growing.
After graduating from the New York Maritime College with a bachelor's degree in computer science and a U.S. Merchant Marine Officers license, I became a captain of oil field supply vessels in the Gulf of Mexico, and then a whale research vessel off Montauk, New York. After my shipping career, I became a computer scientist at the U.S. Naval Weapons Center and at the U.S. Naval Research Laboratory.
After receiving a master’s degree from George Washington University, I went to work in the private sector selling, designing and developing customized financial and information management systems for mid-sized businesses in a wide variety of industries focused on helping our client's businesses grow.
I then became a senior executive at a U.S. federal government contracting firm growing their fledgling Information Systems Division into a thriving organization of engineers, managers, and support staff.
From there I moved into management consulting with a highly respected consulting firm to work with Fortune 500 executives and managers transforming their organizations into successful business units.
I also founded and managed several small businesses, including a live music and arts publication that blossomed into a publishing company and an events management business, along with a non-profit organization supporting musicians ("H.E.L.P."), and several health and wellness-oriented businesses.
Upon completing the Business Coaching Program at Corporate Coach U in 1999, I created NuView Coaching, LLC and became a full-time Executive Leadership & Organizational Development Coach.
Over the 25 years since then, I've trained, coached, mentored and advised hundreds of people at all levels in the private, public, and non-profit sectors. I've worked with many of them for years helping them navigate the challenges and opportunities that have arisen throughout their careers and lives. I've supported their growth and development to help them become the Leaders they are proud to be.
Throughout this exciting journey, I have constantly been Learning, Changing, and Growing.
